She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbridge E. Bird and Edith Canwell Bird; her husband Freeman; her brother Elbridge (Bird); her stepson Norris Stevens; her great grandchild Isaac Burgess; and her close friend Charlotte Purington.
She is survived by: her sister Ida Gagne; her children, Sherry Proctor (Leon Hollingshead) of Harpswell, Sally Bean (Mark) of So, Paris, Michael Stevens of So and Annette Stevens (Jeff Lewis) of Harrison; and her stepdaughter Betty Lebrun Mailhot (Marc) of Lisbon. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
