He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter R. Sparks and Elizabeth Mae Sparks (Pendleton); and his siblings, Robert, Russel Sparks and Lora Margolis.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney, Steven, David and Tina; his son-in-law Steve of Ohio; his close friend Patricia "Patty" Perry of Norway; and his parrot Jack. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
