With solemn reverence, we commemorate Albert E. Hersey (Oakfield, Maine), whose life came to an end on June 1, 2025 at the age of 99, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilber Hersey and Kate Hersey (Sanders); his wife Leah Mitchell Hersey; his son Duane Hersey; and his siblings, Evelyn, Ruby, Velma, Cora, Everett, Hilton and LeRoy.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara (Gene Lawlor), Angela (Kenneth Pratt) and Neil (Becky Hersey); his daughter-in-law Anne Odgers of Island Falls; and his sister-in-law Sonya Mitchell. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oakfield Cemetery.
