Charles E. Gladu Obituary
In loving memory of Charles E. Gladu of Ocean Park, Maine, who departed this world on May 31, 2025 at the age of 84. Charles leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Charles farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Charles is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gladu and Ruby Macomber Gladu; and his son Edward Gladu. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Lincoln Gladu of Ocean Park; his sons, Jonathan Gladu (Jean) of Havana, FL and Tim Gladu (Sarah) of Waldoboro, ME; his sister Claire Gladu of Fall River, MA; and his granddaughters, Joslin and Kendra. He is also survived by neighbors and doting on his granddaughters.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the United Baptist Church (318 Main St, Saco, ME 04072).
