He was predeceased by: his sister Debi Holmes; and his parents, John Holmes and Arline Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Lila Holmes; his daughter Lauren McEwen; his son-in-law Dustin McEwen; his grandchildren, Ryan and Erin McEwen of Hubbardston, Massachusetts; his stepson Stephen Hall; his daughter-in-law Lauren Hall of Boston, Massachusetts.; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Marshall and Ed Marshall of Alabama; and his sister Brenda Fass-Holmes of California.
