We bid farewell to Claire L. Gagne of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 8, 2026 at the age of 80. Claire touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Claire's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Claire has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Armand Lamontagne and Thelma Lamontagne (Bagley); her husband Joseph Gagne; and her brother Richard Lamontagne. She is survived by: her children, Craig Gagne (Amy), Karen Mathieu and Michael Gagne (Jaclyn); and her brother Robert Lamontagne (Diane). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
