He was predeceased by : his spouses, Carol A. White (Eaves) and Salem; his parents, Francis White and Doretta White (Decker); his son Michael; his granddaughter Stephanie Chakar; and his siblings, Francis White, Elizabeth "Betty" Shafstall and Catherine "Cass" Kudler.

He is survived by : his children, Linda Chakar of Pelham, NH and Scott White (Gerardo Diazdelavega) of Hudson, FL; his son-in-law Sam Chakar of Windham, NH; his grandchildren, Nicole White, Melissa Mason, Jonathan Chakar and Marissa Reid (AJ); and his great grandchildren, Julian and Vayda Reid. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home (327 Hildreth St, Lowell, MA 01850). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
