It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Eugene Jones of Orono, Maine, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert G. Jones, Sr. and Laura A. Jones (Clack); and his siblings, Alfred C. Jones of Vandalia, OH, Robert G. Jones, Jr. of Vandalia, OH, Phillip P. Jones of Dayton, OH and Betsy Coffey (Donald) of Vandalia, OH.

He is survived by : his wife Nadine Jones (Cota); his daughter Cecelia Jones Pan (Davis Pan) of Arlington, MA; his grandson Alexander Pan; his daughter Angela Jones of Concord, NH; his grandchildren, Keagan Collins, Delaney Collins, Kellie Jones (Jens Jorgensen) of Quincy, MA, Christopher Haskell of Hollis Center, ME and Matthew Haskell (Evelina Haskell) of Blue Hill, ME.; and his siblings, Edgar Jones (Betty-Lou) of Portland, ME and Karen Sipos (Jim Sipos) of Englewood, OH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
