He is survived by: his wife Alice Drinkwater; his children, Susan Cheever (Leeman) of Brewer, Maine and Robert Leeman Jr. of Ellsworth, Maine; his brother Richard Leeman (Helen) of Bangor, Maine; his grandchildren, Ashley Benedict (Chad) of Freeport, Bryan Cheever (Gail) of Standish, Courtney Cheever of Portland, Adam Cheever of Portland, Lindsay Murphy of Bangor, Maggie Sullivan (Charles) of Brewer, Hillary Leeman, Heather Leeman of New York and Hannah Leeman of Greensboro; and his great grandchildren, Rylan Benedict (Tabitha) of Scarborough, Caden Benedict of Freeport, Andrew Cheever of Yarmouth, Owen Cheever of Yarmouth, Lucia, Kenny Kindya of Brewer, Isaiah, Romeo and Gioia Imperiale.
