He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kearns and Eleanor Kearns (Phee); and his brother Phillip. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Kearns (Demaso) of Orrington; his children, John Kearns (Christina) of League City, TX, Maria Sykes (Sean) of Woburn, MA, Angela Kearns of Bucksport, Felicia Kearns (Jeff Bouchea) of Saco, Melissa Kearns of Northport, Teresa Kearns of Scarborough and Mikel Burt (Winston) of North Andover; his grandchildren, Cooper, Jack, Gregory, Alexander, Lucy, Morgan and Sylvia; and his siblings-in-law, Bill, Marie Demaso, John, Jane Demaso, Teresa Scott and Pearl Demaso. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kiley & Foley Funeral Service (299 Union St, Bangor, ME 04401). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Teresa's Catholic Church (425 S Main St, Brewer, ME 04412).
