He was predeceased by : his parents, Francis D. Shumaker and Helen I. Shumaker (Parker); and his siblings, Irene Mills (Mandred), Don Shumaker (Mary Lee), Barbara Miller (Wally) and Roger Shumaker.
He is survived by : his wife Gladys Shumaker (Parsons) of Orrington; his children, Eva M. Hopkins (David) of Ellsworth, Paul "Joe" Shumaker (Mary) of Biddeford and Henry D. Shumaker (Cathy) of Holden; his brother Louis Shumaker (Nancy) of Orrington; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Shumaker (Louisiana).
