He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur J. Vachon and Frances M. Vachon (Boyce); and his siblings, Raymond, Donald, William Vachon and Marie Carrigan.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy of Brewer; his children, David Vachon (Roberta) of Bangor, Nancy McEwen of Brewer and Robert "Bobby" Vachon (Thuy) of Brewer; his grandchildren, David (Jennifer), Matthew (Kristina), Anthony (Taryn), Adam (Renee), Eric (Cassidy), Dylan, Jessica Orne (Daren) and Emily King (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Kaden, Abby, Camrynn, Brody, Liberty, Sam, Ginny, Lottie, Dahlia, Damaris and Margaret; his sisters-in-law, Rebecca Vachon and Donna Whitehouse (Bob); and his close friend John Wedin (Michele Butera). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
