He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Kennedy and Evelyn Kennedy Sr. (Elkins); his wife Meredith; his son Mark; and his siblings, April DeRaps, James Kennedy, Nola LaBree, Kathy Mortimer and Michael Kennedy.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry Kennedy (Patty) and Rick Kennedy (Ellen); his daughter-in-law Martha Kennedy; his grandchildren, Tawnya Booth (John), Kelly Nickerson (Joe Chambers), Jennifer Paquet (Kevin), Mandy Kennedy (Josh Nugent), Jordan Perry (Nick), Benjamin Kennedy (Kianna Sousa) and Brandon Reny; his great grandchildren, Teran Booth, Jacob Booth, Natalie Nickerson-Emery (Harold), Hailey Nickerson (Trey Benton), Carter Kennedy, Danica Duplisea, Chloe Perry, Ava Nugent, Nash Nugent, Walker Paquet, Cameron Mayhew and Kade Kennedy; his great great grandchildren, Teagen Quimby, Nyomi Quimby, Nakoa Emery and Myla Benton; his siblings, Judy Ramsdell, Ivan Kennedy Jr. (Michelle), Diana Humphrey (Duane), Terry Kennedy (Maggie) and Jessie Breau (Kevin); and his close friend Linda Morrill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
