It is with sadness that the passing of Ruth E. MacGregor (Paris, Maine) is shared. Ruth, born on August 25, 1938, passed away on September 2, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth E. MacGregor to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband David MacGregor; her parents, Frank Abbott and Esther Brock Abbott; and her sister Kaye Boothby. She is survived by: her sister Joan Willard; her brothers-in-law, Ronald Willard and Robert Boothby; her children, Michael (Rita), Alan (Diane), Peter (Amy) and Wendy; her grandchildren, Raymond (Kelley), Katelyn, Molly, Scott, Makayla and Breydon; and her great grandchildren, Madelyn and Amelia.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home (45 E Main St, Paris, ME 04281).
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Andwell Health Partners in recognition of the caring support they provided Ruth or Miles To Freedom Animal Rescue in recognition of Ruth's love for animals.
