He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace E Carter and Elisabeth K Carter; his wife Juanita A Davis; and his siblings, Francis Carter and Pauline Cantwell.
He is survived by: his sister Helen Redding (William); his daughters, Elisabeth Beal, Juanita Carter and Mary Anne Spearin (Ronald); his grandchildren, Forrest Beal (Heidi), Tiffany Levasseur (Scott) and Ronald Spearin; his great grandchildren, Brice, Anthony, Casey, Ben, Peyton, Dalton, Trinity and Sierra; and his close friends, Francis "Brother Benson" and Babe. He is also survived by four great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
