With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jacqueline Billings of Penobscot, Maine, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 2, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Burke Billings; and her brother Wendell Hayes. She is survived by: her sons, John Henry, Joe and Bernard; her friend Carolyn Blodgett; her siblings, Harold Spinney (Joe), Jennielinn Johnson, George Hayes (Nancy) and Amy George (Richard); her children, David Black Jr., William Black (Joan), Ruth Billings Tainter (Troy), Bill Billings (Amy), Sara Leighton (Rick) and Robert (Jeb); her grandchildren, Samantha Black, Victoria Tainter (James), Kim Billings, Virginia Gay (Josh), Margaret Brooks, Hannah Billings (Ever), Kimberly Parks, Miranda Pike (Russ), Erik Tainter, Billy Billings (Vivian), Taylor (Gabriella), Sam Hodgkin, Ricky (Sarah), Cole Walker Leighton (Jaden), Jackson (Arianne), Matthew Billings and Jarrod Black; and her great grandchildren, Sarah, Madyson, Gabriel, McKinlee, Florence, Hazel, Skyler, Hunter, Hayden, Elliott, Harrison, Brooklyn, Charlee, Carter and Edward.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Seaside Cemetery.
