It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis N. Stevens Sr. in Penobscot, Maine, who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Lewis is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Lewis' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his father Vernon Edward Stevens; his daughter Kristine L. Stevens; and his brother Robert Stevens. He is survived by: his mother Helena Stevens (Smith) of Springfield; his wife Judy A. Stevens (Richardson) of Lincoln; his sons, Lewis N. Stevens Jr. (Diana) of Bangor and Michael Stevens of Bangor; his siblings, Linda Stevens-Olsen (Vern) of Florida, Ronald Stevens (Kathleen) of Lisbon, Sheldon Stevens (Linda) of Hermon and Brian Stevens (Crystal) of Lee; and his sister-in-law Wendy Stevens of Lagrange. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bowers Funeral Home (7 Lee St, Lincoln, ME 04457). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
