We bid farewell to Thomas R. Pottle Sr. of Perry, Maine, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 17, 2026 at the age of 64. Thomas touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Ellsworth and Irene Pottle; his sister Peggy; his brother-in-law Bobby Davis; and his mother-in-law Ruth Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Helen Newman (Brandon), Dorothy Garcia (Deitrick) and Thomas Pottle Jr. (Tanesha); his grandchildren, Roman, Sean Pottle, Della Garcia, Ava and Lyla Newman; his sisters, Anne Brewster (Robert), Susan Mitchell (Gary Griffin) and Teresa Craig (Steve); his father-in-law Kenneth Clark; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Clark (Bobbie) and Kevin Clark (Susan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom's memory to Sarah's House in Holden. In honor of Tom and his brave battle, the family also warmly encourages loved ones and friends to consider donating blood and registering with the bone marrow registry.
