He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia L. Perkins Brown and James W. Gilman; his half-sister Lisa A. Brown Keen; his stepmother Lucrecia Morales Gilman; and his brother-in-law Charles C. Staples.
He is survived by: his sister Patricia J. Gilman Staples of Phippsburg; his half-brothers, Anthony Gilman of Phippsburg and Alexis Gilman of Virginia; his niece Brandy M. Staples of Phippsburg; and his nephew Wesley J. Staples of Lewiston. He is also survived by cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews, and friends.
