With sadness, we share the passing of Edward C. Pease Sr. (Pittsfield, Maine). Edward, born on September 17, 1934, passed away on September 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Pease and Grace Pease Sr. (Piscitelli); his wife Louise; his siblings, Grace Thompson, Frank Pease, Nathaniel Pease, Frederick Pease, Annie Fitzgerald and George Pease (Dan); and his siblings-in-law, Annette Vogt and Thomas Colvano.
He is survived by: his close friend Louise Colvano; his children, Carole West (Steven) of Orono, Cynthia Pease of Canaan and Edward Pease Jr. (Christina) of Carabassett Valley; his grandchildren, Nicholas Starno (Gaby) of New York City, Sierra Starno of Orono, Tyler Stratton (Allison) of Fairfax, Vermont, Dr Elizabeth Stratton (Evan) of Winooski, Vermont, Edward Pease III (Tre) of Carrabassett Valley, Devon Adams of Carrabassett Valley and Tia Francis (Matthew) of Machiasport, Maine.; his great grandchildren, Sonder, Winslow, Boen, Esemae and Isabelle; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Pease (George Daniel Pease), Ellen Pease (Nathaniel Pease), Barbara Colvano and George Vogt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Shorey-Nichols Funeral Home (191 Hartland Ave, Pittsfield, ME 04967). A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery.
