He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth Herrin and Florence Herrin; his in-laws, Rexford and Evelyn St. Ledger; his brother Kenneth Herrin Jr.; his brother-in-law Bruce St. Ledger; his niece Nome Louise St (Ledger); and his nephews, Rex St. Ledger and Stephen Herrin.

He is survived by : his wife Anne; his children, Robert (Raejean), Ronald and Betsy Holt (Michael); his grandchildren, Jason Herrin, Joshua Herrin (Aliza), Jennifer Viles (Bernie), Jared Herrin (Chelsie), Corey Holt (Jocelyn), Kristin Holt (Holly), Ashley Fabian (Roland) and Jenna Walker (Eric); his great grandchildren, Lilly, Gavin Herrin, Jackson Holt, Grace "Big Codfish", Lucas Holt-Rubin, Emma, Drake, Mady Viles, Amina, Anaya Fabian, Tyson Herrin, Grant, Ethan, Corbin Walker, Kealey, Devin Bowman, Evelyn, Emmett Herrin, Rebecca and Elizabeth Herrin; his sister-in-law Nome St. Ledger; his cousin Eugene (Ruth Herrin); his niece Linda Herrin Cannon; and his nephews, Patrick Herrin and Michael St. Ledger.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shorey-Nichols Funeral Home (191 Hartland Ave, Pittsfield, ME 04967). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Skowhegan Federated Church (13 Island Ave, Skowhegan, ME 04976).
