He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Knox and Eunice Knox (Osborne); and his sister Joy Knox Roehrig. He is survived by: his wife Cathleen Hall Knox; his children, Cheryl A. K. Harris (William) of Ashland, Maine, Daniel W. Knox (Sarah) of Falmouth, Maine, Bunny K. Pounds (Jim) of Washington, Jeremy L. Knox (Layle), James A. Knox (Amy) of Newport, Maine, Steven Knox (Catherine) of Greene, Maine and Shasta D. Tate (Travis) of Belhaven; and his siblings, Timothy Knox (Verna) of Jacksonville, Florida and Lois Knox Rutan (Randall) of Berkeley Springs. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and one great grandchild as well as several nieces and nephews.
