He is survived by: his wife Susan Ackroyd (Pelrine); his children, Jennifer Taiani (Matthew), Stephanie Westergren (Robert), Jocelyn Harlow (Tyler) and Jeremy Ackroyd (Christina); his grandchildren, Michaela, Dylan, Reid, Cooper, Carter, Wyatt, Malcolm, Tanner, Ainsley, Michael and Serena; and his brother Kenneth Ackroyd.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that gifts be made to support the Amyloidosis Innovation Fund at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
