The memory of Alyssa D. Penney of Portland, Maine, who passed away on December 5, 2025 at the age of 29, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid adieu to Alyssa's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Alyssa has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She is survived by: her parents, Donald Penney and Michelle Long (Martin); her son Colby; her stepfather Doug Long; her siblings, Christie Lagasse (Michael) and Nick Penney; and her stepsister Kaila Starkey (Adam). She is also survived by her maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather, her two nephews, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Homes of South Portland (1024 Broadway, South Portland, ME 04106). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Maine Elks Lodge #188 (1945 Congress St, Portland, ME 04102).
