He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaetano Caiazzo and Orsula Caiazzo (Rega); his wife Shirley Scott; and his siblings, Anna Haskell, Vincenza Fowler, Grace Pulsifer, Mary Fasulo, Philomena Fowler, Joseph and Salvatore Caiazzo.
He is survived by: his sisters, Delores Nelson, Ursula Carver and Patricia Ross; his children, Joan Smaha (Jeff), Tom Caiazzo (Janine), Maryann Piacentini (Rick), Mark Caiazzo (Kelli) and Janine Merrill (Andy); his grandchildren, Greg Smaha, Michael Smaha, Amanda Casale (Anthony), Melissa Cowie (Jack), Ryan Piacentini (Jamie), Jill Nelson (Pat), Matthew Caiazzo, Stephen Caiazzo and Rachel Merrill; and his great grandchildren, Mariah Cowie, Alana Casale, Avery Casale, Coleman Nelson, Sonny Piacentini and Sloane Cowie.
