Bertha Day Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2025, at the age of 80, Bertha Day in Portland, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Newcomb and Bula Newcomb (Randall); her siblings, Eddie Newcomb, Floyd Newcomb, Roland Newcomb, Perdita Beckwith and Lucinda McCormick; and her granddaughter Andrea Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Doreen (Day), Webber (Phil Webber) and Dennis Day (Kristen Day); her grandchildren, Kayla Brown, Ashley Barr, Devon Day and Tabitha Day; and her great grandchildren, Mason Barr, Peyton Barr, Mackenzie Roberts, Joslin Gagne and Harrison.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel (498 Long Plains Rd, Buxton, ME 04093).
