It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Donna Honan in Portland, Maine, born in Houlton, Maine, who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Beverly Donna may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Beverly Donna touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (307 Congress St, Portland, ME 04101).
The family kindly requests that donations be made in Beverly Honan's memory to support the St. Elizabeth's Library and other initiatives that support the growth of faith in children and youth at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
