She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor Sanford Libby and Norman Libby of Scarborough, ME.; and her sister Judith Libby Gray. She is survived by: her husband Frank Elbridge Benson, Jr.; her children, Wendy Benson Sargent of Gorham, ME, Randall (Tammy) of Sturbridge, MA, Robert of Jamaica Plain, MA and Christopher of Madison, AL.; her grandchildren, Justin Benson (Charles Berds) of Dorchester, MA, Alexandria Gonzales (Joe) of Swarthmore, PA, Michael, Natalia, Kenny Benson of Martinsville, NJ, Bryce and Susan Benson of Madison, AL.; her great grandchild Asher Cole Gonazales; her niece Melissa Libby Fisher (Mike) of Zellienople, PA; and her brother Clinton Libby of St. Johnsbury, VT.. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the A. T. Hutchins Funeral and Cremation Services (660 Brighton Ave, Portland, ME 04102). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
