He was predeceased by: his father Heber H. Umphrey. He is survived by: his mother Helen Umphrey (Kidney); his children, Matthew Umphrey and Jill Albers (Stephen); his grandchildren, Edel and Noel; and his siblings, Jim Umphrey (Jeanette), Pat Umphrey (Paula Jean O'Neill), Peter Umphrey (Tamie Jarvis) and Laura Seitz (Steve). He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, and many devoted friends.
