David Matthew Lawrence Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Matthew Lawrence (Portland, Maine), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2025 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his parents, George M. Lawrence and Ellen E. Lawrence (Sullivan); his wife Beverly Brown; his children, Andrew and Megan; his siblings, Samantha Benevides (Tom) and Jason Lawrence; his mother-in-law Bonnie Brown; and his brother-in-law Boyd Brown (Laurie). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
