He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Babbitt and Michaelene Fagone Babbitt (Mickey); and his brothers, Richard (Ricky) and William Babbitt (Billy). He is survived by: his siblings, Robert (Bobby), Patricia Prescott (Patty) and Janie Babbitt; his children, Michelle McCartney (James McCartney) and Edward Michael Babbitt, Jr. (Lucia Aceto Babbitt); and his grandchildren, Edward Michael Babbitt III (Mikey), Marcus Leo, Caleb Michael McCartney and Carmen Babbitt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
