He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward Greene Sr. and Marion A. Greene (Morse); his wife Gail Munroe Greene; his brother Roger Sproul Greene of Bloomington, IN; and his son Bruce Cameron Greene of San Diego, CA.

He is survived by: his children, Sandra Lee Greene, Weymouth and Steven Lester Greene of Dripping Springs, TX; his stepdaughter Kristine Hedtler of Brunswick, ME; and his grandchildren, Charles Cameron Greene, Danielle Marie Greene, Heather Dube, April Ann Greene, Marianne Cameron Greene and Matthew Warren Greene.
