He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Wright and Lois Hemingway Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Hildegard; his children, Richard of Poughkeepsie, NY and Karen Wright Garbe of Delanson, NY; his grandchildren, Halbert and Juliana Garbe of Delanson, NY; and his sibling's children, William and Heidi Cornell of Glenmont, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Diabetes Association or the American Kidney Fund would be appreciated.
