He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Mary Louise Smith, Granville Isaac Smith and Marjorie Joyce Abbott. He is survived by: his parents, Mark Smith and Joan Abbott; his sibling Meaghan Catherine Smith; his partner Sydney Richard; his stepmother Amy Clements; his stepsiblings, James MacKinnon and Katherine Rehnert (Scott Rehnert); and his nieces, Ellie MacKinnon, Reese and Blair Rehnert.
