He was predeceased by: his parents, John S LaRose and Sarah E. Hart LaRose; his siblings, Francis LaRose (Stuart), Margaret Anthony (Margie), Catherine Connolly (Citta), Bernadette Huff (Junie) and Marion Kierstead (Queenie); his former wife Alice Jean Winslow; and his stepson Brian.
He is survived by: his wife Terri Horan Dalton; his children, Jeanne (Richard Murphy) of Portland, Jim (Kathy Ellis) of Portland and Judy (Charlie Fogg) of Arundel; his stepchildren, Bruce Dalton of Cornish, Greg (Ann Dalton) of Bar Harbor, Keith (Joanna Dalton) of Ludlow Massachusetts and Chris McQuinn of Omaha Nebraska; his grandchildren, Erica Gailey Long, Seanna LaRose, Matthew, Ben and Chuck Fogg; and his stepgrandchildren, Jonathon, Bradford, Stephen, Andrew, Logan, Cooper and Blake Dalton. He is also survived by his family with her and her children.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Maine Historical Society or Wounded Warriors Project.
