He is survived by: his wife Ann Acheson (Welsh); his children, Helen Acheson (John Bellerose), Julianna Acheson, James Acheson, Jr., Marion Acheson-Silver (Richard Silver), Liz Heasly (Gabe), Katherine Kerkam (Ted) and Daniel Acheson (Katherine Cronin); his grandchildren, Jordan Rich (Meagan), Emily Rich, Hannah, Mary, Sarah Acheson-Field of James, M. S, Julianna Acheson, Elizabeth Arris Yancelson (Daniel), John Arris (Mia), Joseph, Dominic Arris, Eleanor (Nora), Sebastian Heasly, Clara, Hazel Kerkam, Basil and Annie Acheson; his great grandchildren, Thomas Mani Yancelson and Alex Arris; and his brothers, Robert Acheson and William Acheson (Peg). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
