It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane E. Shaw (Portland, Maine), born in Westbrook, Maine, who passed away on January 17, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victoria Bragdon (Harvey) and Harold Bragdon; her husband Carl F. Shaw; her son-in-law Robert Harron; her brothers, George, Harvey, William and John Bragdon; Florence Foley, Rita Walsh, Robert Shaw and Arthur Shaw.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Shaw-Bourgeois (George), Deborah Shaw (Peter Ayer), Carl (Catherine), Elizabeth Patterson (Mark), Linda Harron (late Robert), Thomas (Jane), John (Eileen), Susan Hight (Jeffrey) and Joseph (Karen Macleod); and her sister Elaine Robinson. She is also survived by Her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchild.

“Dear Shaw Family, It is with a very heavy heart I send my condolences. In our old neighborhood, your Mom was as sweet as ours. She would always ask if I'd like a sandwich or cookies...politely I'd say 'No Mrs Shaw, but thankyou'. But she'd smile and go make you one anyway...which would you devour on the front steps, knowing cookies weren't far behind. She was my 2nd Mom, my other Mom, that was just as dear...I love you all...Hope to see you guys in the spring. Much love and peace, always, Andy.”
