He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Neary Sholl (Betsy); his children, Dr. John Matthew Sholl (Wynne), Hannah Sholl Tarkinson (Dan) and Richard Afuma (Enestine); his siblings, Dr. Robert Sholl (Noreen), Debora Humphreys (David) and Rebecca Baer (Rob); and his grandchildren, Isabella, Maxwell, Rhyse, Wyatt, Brandon and Braelynn.

Portland- The beloved Reverend Dr John Douglas Sholl died on July 11, 2020 from complications due to Alzheimer's Disease and the covid-19 virus.
