He is survived by: his wife Kathy Hunt (Chabot); his sons, Joseph Hunt II of Westbrook, Brian Hunt of Westbrook and Timothy Hunt of Windham; his grandchildren, Zachary, Micah, Joseph III, Noah and Journeigh; his siblings, John Hunt Jr. of Yarmouth, Rickie Hunt of Auburn, Al Hunt Jr. (Casey) of Turner, Chris Hunt (Angie) of New Port Richey, Florida, Ruth Hunt of Windham and Kathie Hunt of Portland; his stepmother Peg Hunt of New Port Richey, Florida; and his stepsiblings, Suzanne Langlais of Shapleigh and Kerry Bisco of Windham. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
