She was predeceased by: her parents, James Langella and Henrietta Langella (Zugetti); her husband Richard Thomas; and her daughter Maureen. She is survived by: her grandson Shawn Johnson (Kate Johnson); her great grandchildren, Danielle and Thomas; and her sister Rose Cameron.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Leukemia Foundation in Kitty's memory, in honor of her daughter Maureen.
