With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lyle Francis Whitson (Portland, Maine), who passed away on August 29, 2019 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Myrtle Whitson and Guy Whitson; his wife Lorraine (Lenning); and his children, Donald Whitson, Robert Whitson, Sandra Gora, Kathleen Delcourt and Wanda Whitson. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
