He was predeceased by : his parents, Naoum Vermel and Marguerite Amirian Vermel; his sister Marianne; and his brother-in-law Georges Lantz. He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Paulin; his daughter Valerie Taylor; his niece Veronique Meroni (Michel Meroni) of Marseilles; and his nephew Alan Lantz (Sophie) of Paris.
