He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Sterling (Turgeon) and Hartley Sterling; and his siblings, John Sterling and Jackie Sterling Neuts. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sterling; his sons, Peter Sterling (Deanne (DeeDee)) and Christopher Sterling (Cynthia); and his grandsons, Jeremy and Jameson Sterling.
