He was predeceased by: his mother Edith Black (Garland); his brothers, Kevin, Donald, David and Michael Black; and his grandson Walter.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa St. Hilaire of Standish; his children, Charity Richards of Bridgton, Nicole Paul of Steep Falls, Edward Black of Sebago, Robert Black III of Rumford and Spencer Black of Standish; his father Robert Black Sr. of Standish; his sister Patty Keene (Rick) of Limerick; and his grandchildren, Camden, Kayli, Bradlee and Dustin.
