We bid farewell to Robert Harry Gallant of Portland, Maine, born in Sanford, Maine, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 13, 2025 at the age of 95. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his mother Jackie; his wife Jacqueline Gallant; and his grandson Evan Gallant. He is survived by: his brother Rocky Manoriti; his children, Concetta Morse Gallant (Jim Smith), Anthony Gallant (Marie Finch), Joseph Gallant (Joyce McInnis) and Jeannie Gallant (Kenny Clayton); his grandchildren, Concetta, Stephen Sawyer, Francesca Gallant, Paul Patriotti, Marissa, Patrick Pearson, Mia Gallant, Daniel Krupski, Sammy Gallant, Jacqueline Morse and Drew McInnis; and his great grandchild Penelope Pearson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home (199 Woodford St, Portland, ME 04103). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peters Roman Catholic Church (72 Federal St, Portland, ME 04103). A committal service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (1461 Broadway, South Portland, ME 04106).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Gosnell House.
