She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Angelo Valente and Madeline Villacci Valente; her husband Richard Carter; her son Richard; and her grandson Tony.
She is survived by: her children, Kim (Peter), Diane (Steve), Carolee (Tim) and David (Laura); her nephew Tommy Junior'Valente (Doris); and her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Carter. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
