It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Neilson Walker (Portland, Maine), who passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Neilson and Helen Neilson; her husband Gabe (Walker Jr.); her grandson Andrew; and her siblings, Linda Neilson, Carla Tozier and Peter Neilson.
She is survived by: her children, Tim (Gloria), Pete, Mike (Cathy), Jim (Monique), Julie (Mike Beauchemin) and Andrew of Raleigh, NC.; her grandchildren, Callie Friel (Tucker), Courtney, Sammi, Julia, Gabe, Michaela, Lilly, Lainie, Noelle and Aidan; her great grandchild Winslow; her siblings, Bob Neilson (Peggy) and Sue Luthe (Rick); her brothers-in-law, Roy Walker (Kathy) and Jeff Tozier; and her friend Janice Sullivan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Sally hoped those who loved her would honor her memory by sharing a meal with a friend, raising a glass, and indulging in a bit of shopping — just as she would have loved.
