He was predeceased by: his brother Ryan Michael Connell; and his grandparents, John, Donna Connell, Michael and Jeanette Lucas.

He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Connell and Michele Connell; his stepparents, Therese Connell and Joe McElwain; and his stepbrother Zach. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins.
