David R. Lavway Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of David R. Lavway in Presque Isle, Maine. David, born on October 18, 1946, passed away on September 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Lavway and Christina Lavway (Churchill); his daughter Amie Milo; his parents-in-law, Kathleen and Eugene Brown, Sr.; his cousin Larry Turner; his great-niece Erica Hemphill; and his great-nephew Luke Sponberg.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Lavway (Brown); his daughter Marci Wilcox (Stephen); his son-in-law Kris Milo; his grandchildren, Christopher Wilcox (Brooke), Andrew Wilcox, Morgan Amero (Chris) and Felix Milo; his great grandchildren, Mason, Aubree Wilcox, Grady and Brecken Amero; his sister Diane Hemphill (Judd); and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Turner, Cheryl Shankel (Winston), Vicki Sponberg (Deryle) and Gene Brown (Londa). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home (30 Church St, Presque Isle, ME 04769). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Maine FFA Association, 23 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04333.
