With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Evelyn R. Holder of Presque Isle, Maine, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Evelyn left this world on July 12, 2025 at the age of 100, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Brown and Faye Brown (Briggs); her husband Walter; her grandson Christopher Holder; her great grandchild Isaiah Clairmont; her siblings, Harold, Ralph Brown and Beverly Nelder; and her close friends, Phyllis Burgess, Barbara Norsworthy, Elsie Estey and Gladys Brewer.
She is survived by: her children, Jack Holder (Betty) of Florida and Pam Lord (Steve) of Presque Isle; and her grandchildren, Craig Holder (Emily) of Tennessee, Kimberly Lavigne (Wes) of Mapleton and Lindsay Clairmont (Steve) of Mapleton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grant Memorial United Methodist Church (79 Fleetwood St, Presque Isle, ME 04769). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
